William (Bill) Earnest Gentry

William (Bill) Earnest Gentry, 79 of Pearisburg, VA passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital. Bill was born on May 25, 1938 in Harvey, WV and was a son of the late Harry Alan Gentry and Gladys Weatherford Gentry. Bill was a U.S. Army Veteran, Public School Teacher for 39 years and was a member of Castle Rock Baptist Church in Pembroke, VA. He is survived by his wife, Sue Massie Gentry of Pearisburg, one son, William Taylor (Kip) Gentry of Christiansburg, one daughter, Susan Brooke Gentry Marshall of Pembroke and two grandchildren.
