Thelma Ora Porterfield

Thelma Ora Porterfield, 83, of Pearisburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek, VA. Thelma was born on July 21, 1920 in Sinks Groove, WV and was a daughter of the late Everette and Eliza Eppling Porterfield. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters. Thelma was a lifelong resident of Pearisburg. She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Gail Porterfield of Pearisburg and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted, Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Birchlawn Abbey with the Rev. Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating with entombment following.
