Lois Ann Gautier

Lois Ann Gautier, 78, of Rich Creek, VA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the Carilion New River Medical Center in Christiansburg, VA.  Lois was born on April 6, 1944 in Pearisburg and was a daughter of the late Willie Ballard Gautier and Erselle Odessa Davis Gautier.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Beulah Martin, Edna Martin, Nancy Meredith, 6 brothers, Buster, Willie, Jr., Richard, Dan, Rufus, and David Gautier and grandson, Jake Vaughn.  Lois was a 1962 graduate of Narrows High School and grew up on Fletcher’s Mountain. Lois always took care of others before she took care of herself.  Lois was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger.  She is survived by daughter, Debbie W. Vaughn (Teddy) of Pearisburg, son, Jeffery E. Wikle (Jenny) of El Paso, TX and 3 grandchildren, Cody Vaughn of Pearisburg, Anthony and Stepanie Wikle of El Paso, TX, 1 great grandson, Emius Wikle of El Paso, TX, brother, Bobby Gautier (Darlene) of Rich Creek, 2 sisters, Barbara Gautier of Roanoke, Shelley Spicer (Jeff) of Narrows, many nieces and nephews and special friends, the Miller and Sears families from Rich Creek.  A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, February 13, 2023, at 6pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with Pastor Ricky Green officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Chapel one hour before the service from 5 – 6pm.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at givensfuneralhome.com.
