In Loving Memory of

Jonathan David Moore

Jonathan David Moore, 27 of Pearisburg, Va. passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 after a long illness. He was born September 5, 1985, was a 2003 graduate of Giles High School, and a long-time employee of Goodwill Industries. Jonathan possessed that twinkle in his eyes that let you know he was enjoying the moment, even if those around him were stressing out a bit. Blessed with the ability to see the positive side of life, Jonathan kept those around him a little more light-hearted than they would have been without him. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he made sure everyone he talked to knew that his Mom was his best friend. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Bradley, Sr. of Pearisburg; and his paternal grandfather, Richard Moore of Albany, Ind. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his parents, David and Ruth Ann Moore of Pearisburg; his sister, Angela Monday and husband Chad, and two very special nieces, Hannah and Caroline, of Pearisburg; maternal grandmother Zellwood Bradley of Pearisburg; paternal grandmother Mary Moore of Muncie, Ind.; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg with Rev. Michael Boblett officiating. The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church Saturday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to New River Valley Community Services, Attn: Mike Wade, 700 University City Blvd., Blacksburg, Va. 24060 or Fresenius Medical Care Montgomery County, 106 Southpark Dr., Blacksburg, Va. 24060.
