James (Jim) William Bird

In Loving Memory of James (Jim) William Bird James (Jim) William Bird, 48 of Peterstown, WV and formerly of Narrows, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010.  He was born on October 12, 1962 to the late Charles V. Bird, Sr. and Betty Bird Johnson.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother James Vincent Bird, Jr. He was employed by Allen Neely’s Construction and was a loyal friend to many.  He will be sadly missed by all.  James is survived by two brothers, Danny E. Bird of Pearisburg,  Richard Bird of Vian, OK, two uncles, Raymond Bradford of Narrows, Ronnie Bird of Missouri, three nephews, Charles Bird, Danny Bird, Jr., Ritchie Bird and special friend Chelsy A. (Munchkin) Coleman of Narrows.  Memorial services will be conducted Friday evening, November 26, 2010 from 5 – 7pm at the Macarthur House in Narrows.  Interment will be conducted at the Fairview Cemetery in Narrows Saturday at 2pm.  Arrangements by Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg, VA.
