Cheril Viars Pulliam

Cheril (Faye) Faith Viars Pulliam, 55, of Durham, NC, and formerly of Pearisburg, VA, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Mrs. Pulliam was born in Pearisburg, VA on November 11, 1958 and was a daughter of the late Julius L. and Wanda Rock Viars. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lillie Pyle Rock, her aunt, Hazel Rock, a sister, Anita Viars Lucas and a brother Randy Lee Viars. She is survived by daughter Samantha Moretz Souto, son in law David Souto, and grandsons Jonah and Jesse Souto of Hurdle Mills, NC, sisters Sandra (Cleve) Robertson of Pearisburg, VA, and Carrie (Larry) Spicer of Pembroke, brother Wayne Viars of Blacksburg, VA. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Givens Funeral Chapel at 2pm. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
