. Mr. Perdue was born in
Pearisburg
,
VA
on January 31, 1957 and was a son of the late A.M. (Ken) Perdue and Myrtle
Stafford Perdue. Besides his
parents he was preceded in death by one brother Clinton Perdue.
Mr. Perdue was a millwright at the Celanese Corp. in
Narrows
for 30 years. He is survived
by his life companion, Nancy Weiss of Ripplemead, her mother, Christine
Brown, one daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and James (Boone) Dick of
Dublin, one son and daughter-in-law, Jason (Jake) and Amanda Perdue of
Bear Springs and four grandchildren, Michaela, Skyler, Alyssa and Derrick.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 13, 2009 at 11:00
am at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with burial following in the
Birchlawn
Burial
Park
in Pearisburg. The family will
receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 – 8
