in Pearisburg. Mrs. Jones was
born on May 7, 1934 in
Narrows
,
VA
and was a daughter of the late Andrew Johnson French and Lathey Clark
French. Besides her parents,
she was preceded in death by one sister, LaRue Ferrell and one brother,
William L. French. She is
survived by her husband Marvin Carl Jones, one daughter, Sharon J. and
husband Jerry L. Blankenship of Narrows, two brothers, Arnold E. and wife
Lois French of Narrows, Richard C. and wife Sally French of Rich Creek,
VA, two sisters, Carrie Clevenger of Newport New, VA, Dorothy Hayworth of
Narrows, one granddaughter, Julie Ann Hughes of Narrows, on grandson,
Kristopher W. and wife Christy of Penhook, and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 15, 2007 at 2:00pm
at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with the Rev. Franklin Atkins
officiating with burial following in the
Fairview
Cemetery
in
Narrows
. The family will receive
friends at the Givens Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6 – 8 pm.
