and was a daughter of Jesse Ray Johnson and Dorothy Whittaker Johnson of
Pearisburg

VA.
Margaret was a 1978 graduate
of
Giles
High School
, a member of the
First
United
Methodist
Church
in
Dublin
, a member of the New River Valley Walk to Emmaus Community, a loving
daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and a friend to all.
She is survived by two sons, M. Jason DeBusk of Staffordsville,
Robert B. Cooper of Dublin, two step-sons, Marcus Cooper and Nathan Cooper
both of North Carolina, one brother and sister-in-law, J. Chris and Teena
Johnson of Staffordsville, one grandson, Nicholas DeBusk and one niece,
Lynnsey Johnson; two
aunts, Cuva and David Weinstien and Charlotte and Larry Linkous; special friend Tom Boxall.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 20, 2007 at the
First
United
Methodist
Church
in
Dublin
at 11:00am with the Rev. Bill Rowland and Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating
with burial following in the
Birchlawn
Burial
Park
in Pearisburg. The family will
receive friends Sunday evening from 7 – 9 pm at the Givens Funeral Home
in Pearisburg and Monday one hour before the service at the church.
