, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, March 25, 2007.
She was born on May 12, 1923 in
Pearisburg
,
VA
and was the daughter of the late Fred and Mollie Woodyard Thompson.
Her husband, Jack Martin, and her brother, Joe Thompson, preceded
her in death.
She is survived by two sons Jackie and Babette Martin of
Pearisburg, VA, and John C. and Marion Thompson of Washington; two
brothers, John and Juanita Thompson of Rich Creek, VA, and Fred and Dot
Thompson of Salem, VA; two sisters Nancy Harrell of Pearisburg, VA, and
Pat Whittaker of West Virginia; six grandchildren and several nephews,
nieces and cousins.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at
2:00pm with the Rev. Gary Poff officiating at the
Birchlawn
Burial
Park
.
There will be no public visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pearisburg Fire
Department.
