, passed away Friday Morning June 22, 2007 at Riverview Nursing Home in
Rich Creek, VA. Mrs. Perkins
was born on February 2, 1927 in Giles Co. VA and was a daughter to the
late John and Fannie Sartin Perkins. Besides
her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Kingrea, five
brothers, Raymond, Ernest, Vernon, Elmer and Cecil Perkins, four sisters,
Thelma White, Annie Honoker, Arbelle Thornhill and Mary Perkins.
Mrs. Kingrea was a former member of the Newbern Church of God and a
member of Faith Temple Pentecostal Church in Pearisburg.
She is survived by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Pauline
Gordon and Virginia and husband Junior Holt and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Faith
Temple Church in Pearisburg at 2:00pm with the Rev. Clayton Quensenberrry
officiating with interment following in the Guinea Mountain Cemetery in
Pearisburg. The family will
receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg Saturday evening
from 6 – 8 pm.
