Fincastle

VA.
Mr. Deck was born on February
16, 1915 in
Staffordsville
,
VA
and was a son of the late Charles A. and Lelia Meadows Deck.
Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred
(Sue) DeBusk Deck and his grandson, Ronn Romano, three brothers and four
sisters.
Paul was a member of the
First
United
Methodist
Church
in Pearisburg, a member of the Pop Finley Bible School Class, a retired U.S.
Postal Carrier in Pearisburg, a member of Giles Lodge # 106 A.F. & A.M.,
Kazim
Shrine
Temple
and the Giles Shrine Club. He is
survived by his daughter Carolyn Sue Romano of Buchanan and several nieces
and nephews including Norman Deck and his wife Diane of Staffordsville.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 1 2006 at 11:00am at
the
First
United
Methodist
Church
in Pearisburg with the Rev. Dale Wyrick and Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating
with burial following in the
Birchlawn
Burial
Park
in Pearisburg. The family will
receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home Friday evening from 6 – 8 PM.
