Mrs. Taylor was born in Honaker, Russell Co., VA. on May 14, 1923
and was a daughter of the late Henry L. and Minnie Clark Sykes.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
Willie J. Taylor and her son Freddie Taylor.
Mrs Taylor retired from the Celanese Corp. in
Narrows
with 42 years service.
She is survived by on son, Lewis H. Taylor of Auburndale, Fl, one
daughter, Debra Stephens of
Lakeland
, Fl, two sisters, Lucy Moye of Pearisburg, Jean Altic of
Roanoke
.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 17, 2006 at
2:00pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with Dr. Fred L. Austin
officiating with burial following in the
Birchlawn
Burial
Park
in Pearisburg.
The family will receive friends at Givens Funeral Home Saturday
evening from 6 – 8 pm.
