KYLE EDWARD, 91 of
Pearisburg

VA
passed away Wednesday morning, September 6, 2006 at Riverview Nursing Home
in Rich Creek, VA. Mr. Burk
was born on April 4, 1915 in
Bluefield
,
WV
and was a son of the late Gratton W. and Edith Hearn Burk.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby
Thacker Burk and son Daniel K. Burk. Mr.
Burk was a retired employee of the Celanese Corp. in Narrows, was a member
of the
First
United
Methodist
Church
in Pearisburg, the Oddfellows Lodge # 1006 and a lifetime member of the
Pearisburg Volunteer Fire Dept.
He is survived by one son, Richard J. Burk of Valparaiso, Fl,
survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy B. and John R. Pennington
of Lynchburg, Hazel Williams of Pearisburg and Mildred Burk of Princeton,
WV, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 8, 2006 at the
Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg at 2:00pm with the Rev. Ronnie Mutter
officiating with burial following in the
Birchlawn
Burial
Park
in Pearisburg. The family will
receive friends Thursday evening at the Givens Funeral Home from 6 –
7:30.
