In Loving Memory ofMary Ellen Sears WoodieWOODIE, MARY ELLEN SEARS, 59 of Pearisburg, VA passed away, March 3, 2005 at her home. Mrs Woodie was born on April 7, 1945 in Beckley, WV and was a daughter of the late Otto and Pearl Dick Sears. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Treasa Woodie. She is survived by her husband, Paul Allen Woodie of Pearisburg, 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry & Shelby Woodie of Bland, John & Lynn Woodie of Pulaski, Robert & Carie Woodie of Pulaski, Larry Woodie of Bluefield, WV, 1 daughter, Lisa Yowler of Pearisburg, 2 sisters, Lottie Duncan of Beckley, WV, Madeline Wright of Beckley, WV, 1 brother, Curtis Sears of Beckley, 16 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 6, 2005 at the Givens Funeral Chapel at 2:00pm with the Rev David Gwynn officiating with burial following in the Angel’s Rest Cemetery in Narrows, VA. The Family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6 – 8pm. Arrangements by Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg, VA.
