. Mrs. Perdue was born on June
7, 1919 in
Bear Springs

VA
, (Pearisburg) and was a
daughter of the late Kyle Stafford and Sadie Kirk Stafford.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A.
(Ken) McKinley Perdue, 1 son, Clinton Perdue and a grandson, Darren
Perdue, 5 brothers and 1 sister. Mrs.
Perdue was a member of the Wesley’s
Chapel
Methodist
Church
. She is survived by 1 son,
Jeff Perdue and Nancy Weiss of Ripplemead, 1 brother-in-law, George
Perdue, 1 sister, Ernestine Parcell of Rich Creek, VA., 3 grandchildren,
Dean and Amanda Perdue of Trigg, Jessica and James Dick of Dublin and
Jason and Amanda Perdue of Trigg, VA.
and 6 great grandchildren, Cassie, Hayley, Austin and Alyssa
Perdue, Skyler Lucado and Michaela Douthat. Funeral services will be
conducted Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 2:00pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in
Pearisburg with the Rev. Betty Roberts officiating with burial following
in the
Birchlawn
Burial
Park
in Pearisburg. The family will
receive friends at the Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg Wednesday evening
from 6 – 8pm. The family
will gather at 816 Bear Springs Rd.
