She
had been making her home with her sister, Ola for the past five years.
Mrs. Stafford was born on May 11, 1914 in
Giles County
,
VA.
and was a daughter of the late William Alexander Williams and Margaret
Wallace Williams.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Emory W. Stafford and a sister, Leta Pearl Williams.
Mrs. Stafford was a member of the Wesley’s
Chapel
Methodist
Church
in
Trigg
,
VA.
She
is survived by one brother, William Alvin Williams and his wife Louise, of
Pearisburg, one sister, Ola Fair Williams of Bristol, TN and one nephew,
Jerry Williams and his wife Margaret of Warrenton, VA and other nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 11:00
am at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with the Dr. Gary Knapp
officiating.
Burial will follow in the
Birchlawn
Burial
Park
in Pearisburg.
The family will receive friends Monday evening at the Givens
Funeral Home in Pearisburg from 6 – 8 pm
